Southern Hospitality?

Ain’t no such thing.

Trying to carve out a life below the Mason/Dixon line hasn’t been…easy. I’ve never had a problem making friends wherever I’ve lived. But something about the South – what is it? The people I’ve met here over the past few years have been somewhat friendly, but with the exception of two people, no one has invited me over for dinner. Quite the contrary- it’s been me who’s invited people over for dinner. So where is this “hospitality” I’ve heard so much about? People in the North are more friendly. Well, at least that’s been my experience. And if I hear one more asshat say “Bless your heart,” I might as well tell them to go f#!k themselves. Rant over. As you were.
